As we announced in our "Voluntary Recall Notice," some of the products in the lot in question contained residual bacteria, which caused the product packaging to expand. In light of this incident, we would like to explain the health risks of ingesting the defective product below, so please take a look.

Notes

1. Results of inspection of the defective product (expanded product) by an external inspection agency

Testing has confirmed that the species is not food-toxic or pathogenic, and is naturally present in the soil.

2. Regarding the health hazards that may occur if the defective product (expanded product) is ingested

(1) Just to be on the safe side, tests were also conducted on normal products (sterilized products) that were not swollen and manufactured in the same lot. The results were negative (i.e., they were in a sterile state). Naturally, consuming the products will not pose any health risks.

(2) Even if the defective product (expanded product) is accidentally ingested, as mentioned above, it is not a food-toxic or pathogenic bacteria, so it will not cause serious health damage. However, although it varies from person to person, it may cause mild symptoms such as diarrhea.

We would like to inform you that the above opinion has been received from the inspection agency. Therefore, if you have any products from the affected lot, we would ask that you please return them without consuming them, just to be on the safe side.

If anyone who has already consumed our products becomes ill, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we ask that you please consult with a medical institution or public health center and then contact us at the toll-free number listed below.
