Sugita Ace Co., Ltd. will release "IZAMESHI × Shellfish soup and soy sauce ramen" in collaboration with "Menya Yuko" from Kyoto, a new product of the long-term storage food "IZAMESHI (IZAMESHI)" from March 1, 2021 (Monday).

IZAMESHI's first collaboration with a ramen shop is with the popular Menya Yuko, which boasts a bowl of ramen that combines homemade noodles with specially selected pork and soup.

"Menya Yukou x IZAMESHI Shellfish soup and soy sauce ramen," developed to recreate the original flavor, is an authentic ramen that features a soup that slowly spreads the umami flavor of shellfish, noodles with a special chewy texture, and pork slices that are carefully placed so that the sweet fat dissolves into the soup.

The noodles are freeze-dried and made in-house by Menya Yukou. They are medium-thick noodles made with whole wheat flour, giving them a chewy texture. The authentic soup is made with the delicious flavors of clams, mussels, and oysters, and Kyoto soy sauce, allowing you to enjoy the light yet rich flavor of Menya Yukou.

The thick slices of pork are so tender that you can cut them with chopsticks, and the sweet fat of the pork dissolves into the soup, bringing out a deeper flavor. The long, satisfying bamboo shoots have a crisp, chewy texture.
