○About the First Disaster Food Award 2026

This award is given to outstanding emergency and disaster food products in the following categories: "Staple Foods," "Main Dishes," "Side Dishes," "Fruits, Confectionery, and Beverages," "Special Nutritional Foods and Supplements," "Frozen and Prepared Foods," and "Ideal Products," based on taste, ease of handling, nutritional value, etc. The top product in each category will be selected as the Grand Prize winner.

"Disaster food" that everyone can eat with peace of mind even during a disaster is a life-sustaining food.
The program is calling for submissions of products that meet the diverse needs of the elderly, infants, people with allergies, and others, and by awarding outstanding products, it aims to support companies and organizations that are developing and promoting "delicious, safe, and deliverable" disaster food and disaster food-related products.
