Sugita Ace Co., Ltd., the developer and seller of long-term preserved food "IZAMESHI," will release a new product, "Noodles with generous toppings" on Monday, June 1, 2026.

The new "Noodles with generous toppings Toppings" lineup will feature five varieties: "Chicken Broth Noodle with Fluffy Eggs," "Bonito Broth Noodle with Various Mushrooms," "Beef Broth Noodle with Wakame Seaweeds," "Asari Clam Miso Soup Noodle with Sea Lettuce," and "Shijimi Clam Broth Noodle with Grated Ginger."

"Nyumen" refers to somen noodles served in a warm broth. Because it is simmered until soft without using oil, it is easy to digest and is a noodle dish that has been enjoyed in Japan for a long time, making it suitable for emergencies such as when you are feeling unwell or your stomach is upset. With the desire to provide a comforting meal that can nourish both body and soul with a warm broth, even in times of disaster, we have commercialized "Nyumen" with plenty of ingredients and a focus on satisfying texture as long-term preserved food called "IZAMESHI".

The noodles used are "Banshu hand-pulled noodles," which boast a tradition of approximately 600 years in southern Hyogo Prefecture (Banshu region). While generously topped and satisfying, each dish is finished with a special seafood or meat-based broth that varies depending on the product. The broth has just the right amount of saltiness, making it a great way to replenish fluids and electrolytes in case of an emergency.

Furthermore, thanks to its self-standing packaging design, you won't need a pot or bowl in an emergency; simply add hot water and enjoy with the included fork. We also offer sets that can be used not only as emergency supplies but also as gifts for loved ones. This delicious, long-term preserved food is useful in a variety of everyday situations.

The main visuals for each product feature different illustrations, all inspired by "Ukiyo-e," a traditional Japanese art form. The set products depict a heartwarming scene of a noodle shop in the heart of a bustling Edo-period town, where people come and go and naturally gather. The individual packages, while continuing the lively townscape of the set box, are designed to evoke the image of takeaway products sold at the noodle shop's storefront. The entire product line expresses a consistent storytelling style and the atmosphere of Edo.
